Shannon was born and raised in the Church of Christ faith in Tennessee where he lived for 36 years before moving out to California in 2009. He was baptized into the faith at the age of 16.

He met his now wife, Christie, in 2005 and they married in 2010 and have been part of the Foster Road Church of Christ family since 2009. Christie was baptized into the Church of Christ by the former minister, Dennis Russell, who also performed their marriage ceremony in 2010.

Shannon is the web designer for Foster Road and designed / maintains the current site. He is also is the videographer who controls the livestream every Sunday for our visitors who are not able to join us in person. He also manages most of the social media for the church.

Christie is the church secretary and also co potluck coordinator with Kylie Beggs. She also the graphic designer who creates custom designs for our social media postings, bulletins and fliers as well as the Power Point sermons every Sunday. Christie also helps Shannon with IT projects for the church.

It tends to get rather fuzzy where one begins and the other ends as they collaborate on various projects each week. Christie often jokes that trying to get everyone going in the right direction and all the components pieced together each week is like herding cats, but it is a labor of love. One of her favorite sayings and her personal motto is "Team work makes the dream work" which you will hear her often say when working on a project.
